“127 Hours” is a biographical survival film directed by and written by Simon Beaufoy. The movie is based on the true story of Aron Ralston, a mountain climber who gets trapped under a boulder while canyoneering alone in Utah's Canyonlands National Park. With no way to call for help, Ralston must survive for five days before he amputates his right arm with a dull knife in order to free himself.
