Antigone is a Canadian drama film that was released in 2019. It was directed by and is a modern adaptation of the classic Greek tragedy play by Sophocles.

The film tells the story of Antigone, a young immigrant woman living in Montreal with her family. When her brother is wrongfully killed by police, Antigone defies the law and risks everything to give him a proper burial. Her actions spark a series of events that challenge the justice system and force her to confront the harsh realities of the world she lives in.

Antigone premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2019, where it won the Canada Goose Award for Best Canadian Feature Film. It has also received critical acclaim and won several other awards at various film festivals.
