Leela is a professor from Bombay and is married to a renowned poet. She has always been identified as ‘Nashaad’s wife.’ However, when she wins the opportunity to teach as a visiting professor in California, she discovers herself beyond her role as a wife. Kris enters her life as a ray of sunshine, and Leela realizes her own desires, including those of the body. Will this lead to a happily-ever-after fairy tale or another Bollywood melodrama?
