Synopsis:
The movie is set in rural Maharashtra during the 1970s and revolves around a poor farmer named Guna who discovers a passion for the traditional folk dance form ‘Tamasha’ after he is forced to cross-dress and perform in it to earn money. As he becomes more and more successful as a performer, Guna faces resistance from society, his wife, and even his own father. The movie explores themes of gender identity, societal norms, and the pursuit of one’s passion.
