Synopsis:
“The Lunchbox” tells the story of a mistaken lunchbox delivery that leads to an unlikely friendship between a lonely office worker, Saajan Fernandes (irrfan Khan), and a neglected housewife, Ila (nimrat kaur). Ila, hoping to rekindle her husband's love, starts sending him special lunches via the famous Mumbai tiffin delivery system. However, the lunchbox ends up being delivered to Saajan, who is about to retire. The two strangers start exchanging notes and eventually, a bond develops between them, leading to self-discovery and unexpected twists.
