“Point Break” is a 1991 American action thriller film directed by Kathryn Bigelow and starring Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze, and Gary Busey.
Synopsis:
The film follows Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves), a rookie FBI agent who is assigned to investigate a string of bank robberies that have been committed by a group of surfers. Utah goes undercover as a surfer and befriends the charismatic leader of the gang, Bodhi (Patrick Swayze). As Utah becomes more involved with the gang, he starts to question his loyalty to the FBI and his own values.

“Point Break” did not receive any major awards, but it has become a cult classic and is highly regarded for its action scenes and performances. It was nominated for two MTV Movie Awards in 1992, for Best Action Sequence and Best Kiss (Keanu Reeves and Lori Petty). The film has also been referenced and parodied in numerous other films and TV shows.
