Synopsis: The film follows the story of Rick O’Connell (), an American soldier who travels to Egypt in the 1920s to explore the ancient city of Hamunaptra. There he meets Evelyn Carnahan (), an Egyptologist, and her brother Jonathan (). They accidentally awaken Imhotep (), an ancient Egyptian priest who was cursed and mummified alive for trying to resurrect his lover. Imhotep seeks to use Evelyn’s body as a vessel to bring his lover back to life and become all-powerful, and the group must race to stop him before he unleashes a terrible curse on the world.
